It is indeed a privilege to represent the Citizens of Lakewood as an elected member of the Lakewood City School District Board of Education.  We know that an excellent and accountable public school system ensures a prosperous community for everyone as was recently highlighted by BusinessWeek designating Lakewood the “Best Place to Raise Your Kids.”

To continue our hard work in strengthening excellence and accountability throughout the Lakewood City Schools, we need to mount an aggressive reelection campaign.  Unlike the recent school board election, I anticipate that the upcoming race will be contested.

This reelection campaign will require a strong and organized nonpartisan, grassroots effort.  I cannot do it alone.  That is why I am asking you to join our campaign and help us continue to build upon the foundation we established for excellence and accountability.

Although our Community is facing tough economic times, we hope to raise $10,000 in 2010.  I ask for your support in meeting this ambitious goal.
