It is indeed a privilege to represent the Citizens of Lakewood as an elected member of the Lakewood City School District Board of Education. Thank you.

We know that an excellent and accountable public school system ensures a prosperous community for everyone as evidenced by Lakewood recently being named the “Best Place to Raise Your Kids” by BusinessWeek and, most importantly, the Lakewood City Schools being ranked “Excellent” by the Ohio Department of Education!

To continue our hard work in strengthening excellence and accountability throughout the Lakewood City Schools, we need to mount an aggressive reelection campaign. Unlike past school board elections, I anticipate that the upcoming race will be contested as individuals have already announced that they are actively “considering” a run for the school board.

This reelection campaign will require a strong, organized, and nonpartisan grassroots effort. I cannot do it alone. That is why I am asking you to join our campaign and help us continue to build upon the foundation of excellence and accountability that you and I started.

Although our Community is facing tough economic times, we hope to raise $10,000 in 2010. I would like your support in meeting this ambitious goal. Your donation will help with the printing, postage, and other resources needed to reach every voter.
